Eligibility To Use The Ring & Ride Service

Am I Eligible?

There are a number of reasons that may entitle you to register with our organisation and make use of our service.

Firstly, you have to be a registered member of our organisation, registration is free and requires the completion of an application form.

Once registered you will then be able to ring the following Telephone number: 07745 968366 and book a space on our service. The service provides a door to door service and is charged at a reasonable rate of approximately £5 per return journey. Although this may vary depending on requirements.

We will make every effort to provide you with the service and times you require but if we are unable to do so we may offer you an alternative time or day.

HOW DO I QUALIFY

Unable to drive, you may be unable to drive because you do not have a license, or your license has been withdrawn on medical grounds or you might be temporarily incapacitated due to injury or unforeseen circumstances.
Can drive but do not have access to a car when required.
You live in an isolated area where public transport is limited or non existent, or access to public transport is restricted.
You may have health or mobility issues which prevent you from using public transport
Financial constraints or limited budget my preclude you from using other forms of transport e.g Taxis.
You may be experiencing social isolation due to a lack of available transport resource or you do not feel comfortable using public transport.

Any of these reasons may be preventing you from socialising, meeting other people or just getting out and about.
